About the role
Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Field Sales Team Manager who has the drive to succeed in a thriving industry. You will be an excellent relationship builder and a real hands-on people person as you will be responsible for continuous business from your sales team.
You will also have a desire to exceed OTE and inspire the sales team to do the same. In return, you will be offered a great commission structure and excellent support.
The role will be fully field based across the UK, with overnight stays required to support your team in the field, alongside regular visits to our office in Jarrow, just South of Newcastle.
Reporting to our Head of Field Sales, your key responsibilities will include:
* You will oversee and ensure effective operational management of the field sales team.
* You will liaise directly with our Head of Field Sales to implement and maintain continual improvement throughout the operation to drive high performance and growth.
* Manage and motivate a team maximising and increasing opportunities.
* Be accountable for developing a first-class journey and proactively engaging with other Sales Operation team members to develop best practice.
* Ensure the highest levels of account management are being achieved, using your ability to influence and secure lasting results from your team.
Our standard working hours are Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm. Yes, you read that right, no evenings, no weekends and an early finish on a Friday!
Your experience
* Proven experience in building, developing, leading and coaching a field sales team, creating a strong and engaged workforce across a geographically distributed team.
* A proactive nature to assist with getting business over the line.
* Strong commercial awareness and excellent numeracy skills.
* Ability to prioritise own workload effectively, working within tight timeframes adapting to ever changing demands.
* Experience in managing CRM usage and utilising data to manage performance.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
* Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable using other Microsoft Office programs - makes good use of insightful information and is naturally analytical.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake travel.
The ideal candidate will be based in the North West however applications will be considered for candidates willing to travel.
