A business based in Scarborough is currently recruiting for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a temporary, ongoing basis. This role offers part-time working hours, circa 3-4 hours per day, 4 days per week (hours can be flexible to suit the successful individual). In addition, this role offers an hourly rate of circa £11.50 to £13 per hour, reflecting your valuable expertise and potential qualification level. This role is temporary ongoing, with an immediate start before the run-up to Christmas, into the New Year.
As a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be:
1. Overseeing the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.
2. Entering data into the system and coordinating payment approvals with the wider team.
3. Utilising Sage expertise to manage financial records, invoicing, reporting, and reconciliations efficiently.
4. Conducting account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial data and promptly addressing any discrepancies.
To be successful in this Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk role, you will ideally have/be:
1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and reconciliations.
2. Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software, with the ability to manage invoicing and reporting.
3. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
