This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.
This is fixed term for 12 months - we have various roles available including full-time and part-time.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council plays a significant part in assisting local economic recovery by supporting individuals into employment via commissioned large-scale programmes.
This involves supporting those who require expert employability support and/or those with barriers requiring additional specialist support and interventions.
We are currently accepting applications from individuals who want to join us and be a part of our Jobs, Enterprise and Training (JET) service.
We would like to hear from individuals who have proven success in terms of meeting targets and experience in Careers Information Advice and Guidance, Recruitment Consultancy, Employer Engagement, Employability Training, and Self-Employment Business Advisors.
This role will involve supporting unemployed individuals back into employment and supporting those with significant barriers to progress.
We don’t expect all applicants to have worked in this sector before, but experience is welcomed.
We’re keen to hear from candidates who have worked in other sectors with a support focus and who can demonstrate the behaviours needed that we can develop into the skills required for this role.
