Our client, a leading North East law firm, are recruiting a newly qualified Solicitor to join their Court of Protection team in Durham. The role would suit a trainee Solicitor who is nearing qualification as a Solicitor, who can demonstrate at least one completed training contract seat within Court of Protection. Working with clients, deputyships, third parties and local authorities. Advising on all aspects of COP matters including deputyship applications, lasting powers of attorney, and health and welfare disputes. Assisting in the preparation of court documents, and attending hearings as required. Working closely with families, carers and professionals to protect the interests of individuals. Supporting senior colleagues on complex matters and contributing to the teams business development initiatives.
