Quality Controller
The Opportunity:
Do you have an in-depth knowledge of ISO9001 within an engineering capacity, excellent admin and computer skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with managers in a business and external suppliers? Then this company needs you! You will work on non-conformance issues, improving quality systems, and warranty failures in this varied and integral role.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Update and manage the company's quality management system, drawing upon your in-depth knowledge of ISO9001 conformances.
2. Ensure documentation is kept up to date and processed correctly.
3. Control the incidents log and investigate non-conformities.
4. Manage change request forms throughout the business.
5. Create clear, detailed documents and liaise with suppliers when alterations are required.
6. Conduct good inward inspection, ensuring items meet specifications and are of the appropriate quality.
7. Quarantine Warranty Returns by assisting in the testing and assessing of items returned under warranty or out of box failure.
8. Create detailed reports for vendors to improve production efficiency using Excel.
Preferred Skills:
1. In-depth knowledge of ISO9001.
2. Proven experience of working in an engineering environment, with a technical background but a desire to work in a quality control and compliance role.
3. Excellent administration, communication, and computer skills.
