We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager for a fixed term or secondment of 18 months to join the Transformation Team at an exciting time of change.
In this role you will manage multiple high-value strategic projects from their inception to the end of the project lifecycle across various clinical and non-clinical settings as part of the Trust's project delivery system alongside our continuous improvement approach - Improving Together.
Applicants will have demonstrable depth and breadth of experience leading in a change, continuous improvement or programme management field, working in a public sector or large scale organisation and a track record of delivery. You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, with evidenced experience in improvement methodologies, tools and approaches and quantifiable experience in identifying and deploying benefits realisation.
Applicants will be highly qualified in a recognised standard (e.g. PRINCE2, APM) or have a demonstrable breadth of experience of working to professional project or improvement standards to ensure delivery to cost, quality and time.
The post is based at Salisbury Hospital. As a flexible employer, there will be an opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
Main duties of the job
1. To work proactively to co-ordinate, monitor and support the delivery of the Trust's Transformation & Projects Portfolio.
2. Line manager responsibility for direct report(s) within the project management function.
3. Champion and demonstrate exemplar modelling of the Trust leadership behaviours.
4. Manage a number of complex programmes and projects simultaneously, providing comprehensive programme management skills to deliver on time and on budget to the required quality standards.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Project Management qualification e.g. PRINCE2 or APM OR extensive experience in delivering programmes, change or continuous improvement.
* Qualified to degree level.
* Coaching qualification.
* Training in continuous quality improvement.
Experience
* 3 years' experience in an improvement or programme management field, working within a public or private sector organisation - with a particular emphasis on digital change.
* Evidenced experience in using quality improvement methodologies, tools and approaches within a large/complex organisation (e.g. A3 thinking, Productive Ward, PDSA, systems thinking).
* Evidenced communicator with diverse range of staff with a style which motivates and influences for change.
* Demonstrable experience in identifying benefits and in developing benefits realisation plans.
* Working operationally or in a service delivery role in a large scale organisation.
* Coaching or mentoring others through improvement activities, line management and managing high performance/holding to account experience.
* Breadth of experience spans multiple (e.g. operational excellence, large transformation and digitally enabled change).
* Working in a system wide role (e.g. integrated health care system).
