This post in the Directorate of Rehabilitation and Therapies offers the opportunity for an established Band 6, or experienced Band 5 physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at Harefield Hospital, Middlesex and to develop further clinically, supervising junior staff and students and contributing to key departmental projects. The successful physiotherapist will join the other Band 6 physiotherapists, rotating every 9 months through critical care (including ECMO), cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiothoracic surgery and cardiology, transplantation and ventricular assist devices. They will be treating this variety of cardiothoracic conditions in the critical care, ward and outpatient settings. Main duties of the job This person will need good organisational and communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team. Experience of delivering group exercise sessions and exercise testing would be advantageous. There is regular supervision, training and support from highly skilled senior physiotherapists to address learning needs and they will be expected to work closely with the other members of the MDT.
