As a HLTA you will be working with the class teachers, SENDCO and other members of staff to provide curriculum support and interventions for our children. The role includes: Delivering high-quality lessons across the school during teacher PPA time (planning provided). Building strong, positive relationships with children in all year groups. Using effective, trauma-informed behaviour strategies to support individuals and classes. Working as part of our developing approach to nurture, inclusion and emotional regulation. Being a calm, consistent presence across the school especially for children who need it most. We re looking for someone who: Is a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with experience leading learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Has a strength in behaviour support and a calm, consistent approach. Understands how to support children with SEMH and additional needs in a respectful, inclusive way. Is flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to the needs of different classes and situations. Works well as part of a team and shares ideas to improve provision. Is passionate about making a difference especially for children who need extra support to succeed.
