Project Manager – Cyber Security – Large Cyber Transformation Programme
Location: United Kingdom – Remote / Hybrid
12 months+ initial contract, Inside IR35, £480 per day.
Our client is seeking experienced Cyber Security Project Managers to join their cyber uplift and security transformation programme, in the their cyber programme delivery function. This team is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of critical cyber projects across their business and technology operations. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the full project lifecycle end to end of complex cyber security improvement programmes, from networks, to cloud / infrastructure security solutions, ensuring alignment with business and stakeholder needs.
* Apply your expertise in project management disciplines, including planning, budgeting, risk/issue management, and resource coordination.
* Oversee diverse teams of technical and non-technical professionals across multiple locations and engage effectively with third-party service providers.
* Identify key resources, manage senior stakeholders, and ensure project objectives are met within budget and timelines.
* Maintain flexibility and adaptability in managing complex demands and critical decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
* Liaise with IT suppliers to track deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure seamless integration of solutions.
Experience
* Experience in delivering Cybersecurity or complex network transformation projects - knowledge of Microsoft security tools and solutions highly desirable.
* Proven experience in complex project delivery environments involving business and technology deliverables with third-party providers.
* Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
* Strong financial management experience, including budgeting and cost control for complex projects.
* Expertise in stakeholder management, including creating and delivering Management Information material.
* Proficiency in managing project plans, understanding critical paths, and addressing associated RAIDs.
* Financial sector experience or strong business acumen.
* Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Education in a technical/IT discipline.
