About the role

The primary responsibility in this role is for the management and coordination of all temporary works activities for a number of projects across the Piccadilly Line.
What you'll be doing
The successful candidate will:
* Coordinate all Temporary Works (TW) activities ready for construction to meet project requirements;
* Ensure the TW Register is maintained and newly identified items are correctly risk assessed;
* Ensure that construction methods statements and risk assessments comply with the requirements of the design;
* Ensure that information relevant to the works has been received from the client, principal designer and permanent works designer, as appropriate;
* Ensure that a design brief is prepared with consultation within the project team and that it is both adequate and in accordance with the actual situation on site;
* Ensure that any other temporary works in the vicinity are referenced in the design brief;
* Appoint and line manage multi discipline TW supervisors;
* Ensure that all works are constructed and removed safely;
* Programme, plan and prioritise the works designs;
* Manage Health and Safety risk.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
* Previous experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator on a project of similar scale and complexity;
* Proven knowledge of Network Rail and London Underground technical standards and approval processes;
* Good communication skills and practical knowledge of BS5975:2019;
* Ability to manage conflicting demands, assess priorities, proactively plan the works to ensure timely delivery of project requirements;
* Disciplined approach to quality assurance and documentation;
* Leading teams, people management skills, effective delegation, issue resolution, mentoring & coaching and developing others;
* Working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations, in particular, the Designer and Principal Contractors role;
* CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Course;
* Minimum 5 years relevant experience;
* CSCS card and SMSTS.
