MECHANICAL SITE MANAGER
Currently looking for a mechanical site manager to work on a student accommodation project.
This role will be to oversee the mechanical installation and maintenance on a prominent residential/commercial development project in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all mechanical installation work on-site for a residential/commercial development project.
2. Ensure all work complies with building regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
3. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
4. Monitor progress and quality of mechanical installations, ensuring they meet required specifications.
5. Manage site health and safety, conducting regular safety audits and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
6. Liaise with the Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
7. Conduct site inspections, quality control, and resolve any mechanical-related issues that arise.
8. Provide leadership and guidance to site team members and subcontractors.
9. Ensure all mechanical systems are installed and tested to meet the design specifications and regulatory requirements.
Essential Requirements:
1. CSCS CARD
2. SMSTS
3. Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager within the construction industry.
4. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, installations, and regulations for both residential and commercial projects.
5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
6. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on-site.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
