We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team at Castle Douglas Community Hospital as a business support assistant.
Day to day duties would include: an element of reception cover, fielding telephone calls, preparing casenotes for scanning, inputting SSTS / e-rostering, stores ordering, assisting senior charge nurse with typing letters and reports, managing room bookings, general admin tasks, maintaining financial records / cash handling and banking, supporting MDT within the community hospital, recording admission and discharge statistics using in-house system and record keeping.
You will be part of a team who provide a very important and high-quality standard service. You will be working within a high performing, creative and supportive environment.
You should have:
1. Excellent communication skills
2. High level of computer skills
3. The ability to stay calm under pressure and during emergency situations.
The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic, proactive attitude and be able to demonstrate a record of successful delivery.
