Job Title: Finance Coordinator
Location: Newcastle-Upon-Tyme
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
The Client
Our client is the world's largest HVAC manufacturer and fastest-growing brand of HVAC products in the UK. In supporting further growth, they are looking to expand their team in key areas of their business. They are seeking a Finance Coordinator to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Coordinator
1. Provide financial and administrative support, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
2. Daily sales and purchase ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met.
3. Oversee payment processing, ensuring both incoming and outgoing payments are accurately recorded and completed in a timely manner.
4. Liaise with internal and external customers/suppliers, including credit control.
5. Process bank payments and receipts and reconciliation.
6. Provide financial information to the business as required to enable decision-making.
7. First line of support to the Receptionist, including site access.
8. Assist with periodic reporting and year-end audit.
9. Proactively work with other departments to continually review and improve processes.
10. Perform company clerical duties, including post, stationery, insurance, petty cash, and vehicle administration.
Skills and Qualifications required for the Finance Coordinator
1. Experience of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
2. AAT Level 2 Accounting or equivalent by experience is desirable.
3. Excellent Customer Service / Communication skills.
4. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
5. Excellent planning, organizing skills, and attention to detail.
6. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics would be beneficial.
7. Experience of working in FMCG/Manufacturing industry is desirable.
