We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our team on a supply basis, working with secondary schools across Derby. If you are passionate about education and capable of maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour while delivering engaging lessons, we would love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher Ensure students are on task and engaged with the provided work Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Provide support and guidance to students to encourage positive learning outcomes Maintain a calm, orderly classroom environment Report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate staff members Requirements: Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of secondary school curriculum and classroom dynamics Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to engage students A proactive and adaptable approach to work Good communication and interpersonal skills A DBS check (we can assist with this process if needed) Why Choose Teaching Personnel?
