We are seeking a motivated and results-driven New Business Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Ideagen. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating the sales process, from lead generation to closing, while also collaborating across departments to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
Identify and research potential clients using various strategies such as networking, cold calling, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions while working toward closing sales transactions that meet or exceed set targets.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies that maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, revenue generation, and expenses. Analyse sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and monitor performance against sales quotas.
- Work collaboratively with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with overall business goals.
- Engage in continuous learning through professional publications, educational opportunities, and active participation in relevant professional organisations to enhance your knowledge and skills in sales.
Skills and Experience: - Proven Sales Experience: A track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, preferably with experience in B2B sales.
- Competence in analysing sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, data analysis tools, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
