A small family-run precision CNC production machining company requires a CNC programmer/CNC Turner setter to join their busy manufacturing team.
The successful candidate will work within a clean and modern environment with state-of-the-art machine tools. The role will involve the production of components according to production schedules and producing medium batches of precision components.
An excellent rate of pay and overtime is offered to an applicant with the relevant experience.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Regular overtime is available.
Duties include:
1. Programming, setting, and operating CNC fixed head turning centres; Fanuc or similar experience preferred although not essential.
2. Responsibility to maintain the quality of work during production.
Skills:
1. To be considered for this role, you must be able to use measuring equipment and read engineering drawings.
2. Relevant experience is required in programming, setting, and operating although additional training will be offered to a suitable applicant.
