Job Description
Job Duties:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring for Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create individualised learning plans to support students in achieving academic goals
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the students' education
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Excellent knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN settings
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practises
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or related field
* Training in specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia or dyscalculia

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
