Investments Marketing Copywriter - JP Morgan - 12 months contract - London - Hybrid - PAYE
We’re seeking a talented and versatile Investments Marketing Copywriter to join Nutmeg, JP Morgan's digital wealth management business, in London on an initial 12 months contract. You will join a dynamic in-house Creative Studio, helping to put words to work across every channel. You’re a storyteller, editor and strategic thinker who will quickly learn about the bank's products, and create compelling content that empowers and delights current and potential investors. You must have a good understanding of various investment products and experience as a Copy / Content Writer to be considered for this role.
Summary of the role and expectations:
* Write engaging investments marketing copy across all organic and paid media channels
* Ideate and deliver end-to-end campaigns, harnessing strategic thinking to create best-in-class customer experiences
* Partner with stakeholders, thought leaders and subject matter experts to build trust, challenge intelligently and find smart solutions to tricky problems
* Apply investments knowledge to deliver content that’s clear, consistent and customer-centric
* Have a robust understanding of the investments risk and controls landscape, and use it as the foundation for every piece of content
* Evangelise for readability and inclusivity – keeping every customer in mind, every time
* Think critically and get curious to make sure we’re doing things the right way
* Own the quality assurance for all work, ensuring it’s error-free, meets the brief and achieves the desired copy standards and brand guidelines
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
* You’ve been writing at an in-house studio or creative agency for a number of years, and your portfolio speaks for itself
* You’re a technically skilled, highly competent writer with a knack for language and an eye for detail
* You’re excited by the challenge of turning complex investments topics into something everyone can understand
* You know how to write joined-up, cross-channel campaigns, and tell a story with a compelling narrative
* You’re adept at following processes within a highly regulated environment
* You know how to interpret brand guidelines with thought and care
* You know the role strategy plays in delivering an effective marketing campaign, and aren’t afraid to help shape it
* You’re an effective multi-tasker, who’s comfortable prioritising to meet deadlines
* You’re a strong collaborator who safeguards our valuable stakeholder relationships
* You’re naturally curious, and can identify when to challenge as well as when to pull back
* You know how to give and receive feedback in a way that’s fair and useful
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
* Bachelor’s Degree in English Language, English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing or similar
* Investments experience, with a solid understanding of regulated environments
* Used to working within brand guidelines
* Experience with Jira and Confluence
*Please note that this role will be working on a hybrid model of 3 days office based and up to 2 days WFH.*
