I am seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Inspector to join a global fashion brand that has just opened a new distribution site in the West Midlands on an initial 12-month Temporary Contract. You will be responsible for incoming product inspection, reporting the findings, and driving short-term containment and remediation of product quality issues.

My client is a recognizable brand and a Global Organisation that operates in the retail industry. They have a significant presence in North America and now in the UK and are renowned for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Description
1. Responsible for inspecting styles as per company inspection and sampling criteria, to ensure that workmanship, measurements, and overall products conform to defined product specifications and regulatory compliance standards.
2. Own the execution of the inspection process from Purchase Order (PO) receipt, to recording inspection results and uploading reports through the company reporting system.
3. Coordinate product rework with company approved third-party rework facilities.
4. Provide inspections data to support Global Quality improvement initiatives.
5. Coordinate with DC Inventory Management teams to ensure POs are handled and quarantined appropriately and effectively.
6. Support the Global Product Integrity team in reviewing inventory with quality nonconformance's, and actively work on exiting that inventory through appropriate channels.
7. Co-ordinate with wider teams in DC and manage relationships with independent third-party facilities.
8. Collaborate with DC Management & DC teams to define specific QA procedures and workflows.
Profile
A successful/experienced Quality/Product Quality Inspector with a background in Retail/Apparel/Garment industry, as well as:
1. Quality inspection experience and knowledge of different inspection techniques.
2. Able to read, understand and interpret basic product drawings, dimensions, procedures, and work instructions.
3. Able to use quality measurement tools, such as tape measure, caliper, hygrometer, moisture meter, light color box.
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PPT, Teams, SharePoint), Smartsheet.
5. Working knowledge of an ERP or Warehouse Management system (WMS) is beneficial.
6. Experience working in a Distribution Centre environment is preferred.
Job Offer
