SEN Teaching Assistant Immediate Start

Pay Rate: GBP95+ per day

Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support, ensuring they achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The Role:
1. Supporting children with special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and other behavioural or learning challenges.
2. Providing 1:1 or small group support in and outside the classroom.
3. Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored interventions and activities.
4. Fostering a safe and positive learning environment.
About You:
1. Have prior experience working with SEN children in a school or care setting.
2. Be confident, patient, and resilient, with excellent interpersonal skills.
3. Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Teaching Assistant or equivalent) desirable but not essential.
4. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Contract/Position Details:
1. Type of Work: Full-time, long-term contract.
2. Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
3. Duration: Ongoing, with the potential for extension.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. To be eligible for this role, you must:
2. Hold the right to work in the UK.
3. Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
4. Provide two professional references related to working with children.
