An opportunity has arisen to join the Teleheath Services team as a Referral Management Advisor within Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Telehealth service that supports patients and healthcare professionals to access various community services within the Trust. It is a growing service working across Cheshire and Merseyside
We are a large team inclusive of both clinical and non-clinical staff who are very supportive and have a strong skill mix. We have an excellent training team who will ensure full training is provided. We can also offer hybrid working to successful candidates.
Applicants must be able to work a rota of shifts between the hours of 8am and 8pm Mon-Sun, 365 days a year so flexibility is essential.
All secondment applicants must have approval to apply for this post from their current line manager prior to application.
As a Referral Management Advisor your main duty is to support the Teleahealth Team. Telehealth is designed to help manage hospitals from healthcare professionals and to advise them on possible alternatives to admission with community services. With the pressures that hospitals around Merseyside are currently under this is a crucial role to help minimize this pressure.
Working as a Referral Management Advisor is a very rewarding role where you can learn a lot about how Mersey Care's community services and local hospitals operate. This is all supported with Telehealth trainer and systems designed to guide you through a patients journey from being referred to being discharged.
You must be comfortable speaking with senior health professionals and persuasive in offering relevant pathway solutions to Health and Social Care. The successful candidates will have experience of working either within a contact centre environment or have customer care experience at the centre of their working experience.
