Role: Pharmacy Technician - Dispensary and Distribution Location: The Wellington Hospital, London Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours a week with some weekend requirements which is on a rota basis Salary range: Competitive depending on experience and skills We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC. The Wellington Hospital has over four decades of expertise; providing the highest level of care for patients who are looking for the best treatment in key areas of healthcare, including: neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, acute neurological rehabilitation, gynaecology and cancer care. In our 50-bed Acute Neurological Rehabilitation Unit we care for patients with a wide range of complex neurological conditions. And we're supported by the UK’s largest private intensive care unit. We also offer the latest cancer and robotic surgery treatments, including electro-chemotherapy, HIPEC and the da Vinci Robot. Having the largest neurosciences unit in London means we're able to carry out advanced spinal surgery, intracranial and peripheral nerve surgery as well as pioneering neurosurgery. As a key member of the Pharmacy Team, you will assist in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service which consistently meet the needs of all patients at The Wellington Hospital. The role requires work across both dispensary and distribution and will require some heavy lifting and need to work across the three locations on this campus.
