As the Senior Operations Manager, you'll manage the delivery of the Capital Main Laying Program across the region, ensuring the delivery of cost-effective and efficient schemes. You will be accountable for the performance and development of your team, driving safety, quality, and productivity throughout the program. You will be the driving force behind safe, on-time, and on-budget project execution, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, including network partners, contractors, and local authorities. Your role will also include the mentoring and coaching of delivery agents, helping them meet their targets and grow within the company. Key Responsibilities: Manage a team of Delivery Agents and Suppliers to deliver Capital Main Laying schemes Ensure projects are delivered safely, within time, cost, and quality targets Monitor and review productivity, performance, and quality of team members and suppliers Promote safety and environmental standards on-site, ensuring compliance with policies Mentor and coach your team, providing support and development opportunities Foster excellent customer relationships with internal and external stakeholders Drive continual improvement and innovation, sharing best practices across the team Manage key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring compliance with company and contract targets Regularly carry out site safety audits, toolbox talks, and H&S inspections What Attributes Are Required? Proven experience in managing a team and overseeing large-scale construction projects Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills Deep knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices Ability to think strategically and analytically to drive project success Strong customer relationship management and collaborative working approach Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure deadlines are met A Little Bit About Your Skills, Experience, and Behaviours… Significant experience in the management of construction or infrastructure projects Expertise in managing health, safety, and environmental standards on-site Proven track record in delivering projects on time and within budget Strong ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within your team Excellent at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including clients, local authorities, and contractors Why Anglian Water?
