To support our ongoing growth, we are looking for you ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Generates sustainable sales across Volk’s diagnostic imaging, ophthalmic lens, and surgical systems product lines Develops a deep understanding of this market, the segments, size, competition, and opportunities Develops and executes the sales and growth strategy for the region Conducts direct sales to end-users for products where required Represents Volk at industry trade shows Provides Sales Training for Distributors Supports sales to ophthalmology residency and fellowship programs and schools of optometry Drives the creation of sales/marketing collateral for this region with support from head office Contributes new ideas for marketing Volk products and for new product design QUALIFICATIONS Must have prior eye care experience in a selling/sales role capacity. A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Science, Engineering, or Business. Minimum of 4 years sales experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales required Previous sales leadership and/or sales training experience preferred TRAVEL This position will require approximately 75% travel.
