NRSWA SA001 & SA002 S7 & S8 MEWP The initial training for this role is supported by Dorset Council, in conjunction with the Local Government Association. Responsibilities Installing full fibre internet connections to both residential and business properties Diagnose and restore service issues to maintain customer connections Carry out emergency and scheduled maintenance across the Wessex Internet network Work as part of an engineering team providing assistance and resource for the maintenance of the ISP services Provide ‘out of hours’ cover on a rota basis during evenings and weekends Working at height to install equipment on masts and customer houses Working as an individual and as part of a team to achieve company targets and KPI’s Adherence with Health & Safety legislation Requirements Great communication and customer service skills Extensive knowledge of the telecoms industry, ideally with installation experience Takes a proactive approach to problem solving in a team environment Honesty and reliability The ability to work on your own initiative with strong self-organisational skills A strong willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving processes Be confident working at height and ideally have received certified training Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months Benefits 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays The option to buy or sell an additional 5 days of holiday Enhanced Family Pay Private Medical Insurance Life Assurance Income Protection Cycle to Work Scheme Tech Scheme Opportunities to progress your career - We’re a young, fast-growing business that is proud of our team of homegrown specialists.
