Our client is a successful and dynamic print management organisation. They seek a professionally trained sales manager to drive the sales team. This is not one of the usual roles where you will be asked “what turnover can you bring” – our client is only interested in hiring the best sales manager regardless of whether you are from print, packaging, paper or any business to business sector.
The key is that you must have recent experience of running a minimum of 6 sales staff and, most importantly, been trained in sales management. Not just the odd course in your career but a whole history of training in your career. Candidates who have worked for the likes of Xerox, Proctor & Gamble etc – that’s what we are looking for. You could have a personal turnover of £3m and manage a team of 10 staff; however, if you have gained that management experience “on the job” then this is not the job for you.
