What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appointment a Finance Assistant to support our school finance team. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing incoming communication to the finance team and distributing this appropriately, assisting school staff in order processing and ensuring orders are approved in line with regulations, and handling cash and banking. The role will also involve assisting with other accounting and finance duties under supervision.
You will work under the supervision of the Finance and Business Manager and have additional support from more senior officers in the team.

• A clear and professional communicator.
• Honesty and integrity.
• Experience working with money and accounts would be an advantage.

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
