We have a fantastic career opportunity for a Team Manager position to join our team here at Northamptonshire Children’s Trust. What will you be doing?
This is a very fast paced and busy role which will require you to have commitment and drive to be successful in this position within a service that strives to deliver positive outcomes for our children and families in collaboration with our external partners.

We are seeking a Team Manager, with current Social Work England registration, and previous leadership experience in a similar role. You will provide leadership to your team, which will consist of Senior Social Workers. You will be responsible for ensuring that work completed out of hours is high quality and responds effectively to ensure the care of the child is paramount, whilst also ensuring you develop your team to provide an effective and efficient service. The right candidate will have responsibility for the team plan to meet objectives and ensure performance targets are achieved.
This is an Out of Hours Service that covers both Childrens and Adults across the two Local Authorities to ensure that all get the right service at the right time when day time services are not available. The Service combines both Childrens social workers and Adult Mental Heallth Practitioners.
About you
The right candidate should be a qualified Social Worker, with current Social Work England registration, and ideally with a Level 5 NVQ Management qualification, or equivalent relevant experience. You will have the ability to manage a team and ensure development and performance issues are addressed though support and coaching. You will have previous budgetary control experience, ICT skills and the ability to represent the service at a more senior level if required.
