Seeking vibrant and energetic Support Workers in Radstock, BA3 3YS Full-time or part-time hours Hourly Rate: £12.65; Sleep Nights paid at £50 per nights Shifts available: 09:00-20:00/21:00 and 09:00-09:00 (with a sleep in shift, paid at a rate of £45 per night) Preference will be given to applicants who hold a full UK, EU or International Driving Licence from a designated country, as the person you will be supporting asks that you are able to drive his mobility vehicle We have a fabulous opportunity to support a rather amazing young man, in his own home in Westfield, Radstock. Could you be the new support worker to complete J's team? J is in his late 20's and has come on leaps and bounds since living is his own home. He is an engaging, sociable young man, with autism, learning disability and sensory processing needs, who enjoys a busy, busy life. J is always out and about He loves walking and meeting the many people he knows in the local area for a friendly 'hello'. He is fun loving, has a super sense of humour and really enjoys the time he spends with his support team, who enable him to live a full and active life. Every day will be different, and rewarding, as you encourage and empower J to be actively engaged in each aspect of his life - this will include accompanying him to favourite activities as well as supporting the continuing development of his daily living skills. J has a very close relationship with his parents, who work closely and warmly with his support team. You will be welcomed by J's established, and close knit support team, alongside an experienced and passionate manager, who takes the time to get to know and invest in each of her team members.
