Job summary An opportunity has arisen for permanent administration positions within the Community Healthy Bladder & Bowel service. The base is Gorseinon Hospital Swansea and the successful applicant will work closely with the nursing team. The working pattern is usually Monday- Friday excluding bank holidays. The successful applicants will be responsible for the administrative and clerical duties required by the Community Healthy Bladder & Bowel service which would include. The Administrative Support Officer will be responsible for delivering safe, high quality administrative support to the Community Healthy Bladder & Bowel Service. Main duties of the job The post holder will work within the scope of the Health Care Support Worker's Code of Conduct (2012) under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Specialist/ Lead Nurse. Behave consistently with the values and beliefs of the Health Board and promote these on a day to day basis. Act as a role model to colleagues, always seeking to maintain the highest standards of professionalism. The provision of the day to day administration/clerical/data entry support to the department ensuring that the referral & appointments system is utilised effectively and patients appointments are arranged and altered as required. Answering and dealing with patient appointment, referrals and other non-clinical enquiries both via telephone and email. Dealing with enquiries from the patients, departmental staff and other health care staff. Stock ordering. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
