The post holder will work as part of the Urgent Care Mental Health First Response service, which includes Crisis Triage & Response Services (Crisis Line/First Response), Liaison Psychiatry, Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment teams, Street Triage, and Liaison & Diversion services (Criminal Justice).
Main duties of the job
The role of a Practitioner involves working within a multidisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in crisis. You will evaluate needs and utilize your clinical skills to provide interventions and treatments. The post requires collaboration within the Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Service, including Crisis Line, Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage, and Liaison & Diversion Services.
Experience working with patients with complex mental health issues is essential. All successful applicants will receive robust supervision and support for professional development.
