Role Overview As a Support Worker, you will be essential in providing care and support to service users with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Your responsibilities will include: Caring and Supporting: Assist service users while they engage in activities such as crafting in the workshop, cooking and baking in the kitchen, and growing produce in the garden. Medication Administration: Responsible for administering medication as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols. Encouraging Independence: Support service users in developing skills and confidence through hands-on involvement in daily tasks. Creating a Positive Environment: Foster a nurturing atmosphere that promotes social interaction and personal growth. Key Requirements Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a social care environment. Training: Medication and personal care training are essential. Availability: Shifts typically range from 07:30 to 22:00, with the most common shift from 17:30 to 22:00.
