Job Opportunity – Quality Manager for a leading multinational materials manufacturer in North Lancashire. Company: Growing multinational materials manufacturer which has seen 40% growth in the last 2 years, looking to grow significantly in the next few years. Location: North Lancashire area Duration: Permanent Salary: Upto £55k (depending on skills and experience). You will be involved in: Development, implementation and continual improvement of the company’s Quality & Environmental programme. Carrying out internal audits and looking at continuous improvement of manufacturing procedures using lean and six sigma methodologies. Conducting risk and COSHH assessments and ensuring compliance. Managing the quality team by providing support and guidance and seeking opportunities for learning and development. Supporting the management of the ISO 9001 and 14001 standards and environmental permits. What do you need to be considered? You will need: A strong quality, background within manufacturing. Working knowledge of ISO9001, 14001, 45001. Ideally a Health and Safety qualification - NEBOSH or higher. Knowledge of internal auditing and continuous improvement. Experience of supervising, training and mentoring QA and Laboratory staff. What to do next Interested?
