The Opportunity
The safety of all our guests, leisure members, and all visitors using our leisure facilities is of paramount importance. Having confident and qualified lifeguards plays a key role in the safety of all swimmers using the facilities.
In this role, you will have a variety of duties including supervising swimming activities at the leisure complex, ensuring safety procedures, guidelines, and policies are followed. You will inspect pool equipment, facilities, and water to ensure they are usable and safe, as well as supervise and assist in cleaning the equipment and facilities.
You will keep swimmers safe by warning against unsafe activities and enforcing water safety policies and pool regulations.

Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Experience with rescue aids and methods such as lifebuoys and poles.
* A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) would be advantageous, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
* You must be a competent swimmer.
