Job Title: Social Worker – Learning Disabilities Team
Location : Camden
Rate : £32 per hour
An exciting job role has recently become available at the London Borough of Camden Council. They are looking for a new member for their Learning Disabilities Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will be responsible for discharging statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, including undertaking Care Act assessments, support planning, and reviews. You will also undertake safeguarding adults enquiries, devising and monitoring protection plans. Additionally, you will assess adults under the Mental Capacity Act and make best interests decisions to ensure their well-being and safety.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must be registered with Social Work England, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a degree-level qualification in Social Work or equivalent, and have post-qualified experience.
