Description We are seeking an accomplished Sales Director to lead and inspire a multi-BU team of project pursuit and OEM sales professionals. You will drive critical initiatives that enhance growth and build value across Emerson’s cross- business unit KOB1/2 business. For project pursuits, your focus will be on identifying, qualifying and engaging with strategic opportunities early in the project lifecycle (Pre-FEED/FEED), developing and implementing pursuit strategies, ensuring Emerson is successfully positioned to win these projects. In the OEM segment, you will provide clear direction and guidance to a dynamic field sales team, working to enhance growth and expand Emerson’s footprint in the OEM business. As a key member of the UK & Ireland senior management team, you will play an integral role in shaping the direction and strategic priorities for Emerson Process Management, contributing to the overall success and vision of the organization. Apply today and let's shape the future together In this role, your responsibilities will be: Leadership & Team Management Lead, organize, manage, and inspire the Project Sales and OEM Sales teams to meet or exceed annual booking targets across all BUs. Set individual goals and budgets for team members and oversee their development through the Emerson Succession and Organizational Planning process. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Project Sales organization. Actively participate in UK & Ireland leadership team activities, developing and implementing strategy for the long-term success of the region. Establish and monitor metrics for project pursuit and OEM businesses. Lead the forecasting process for project and OEM businesses, supporting the BUs’ POR. Lead the budget-setting process for project and OEM businesses. Project Pursuit & OEM Business Oversight Serve as Pursuit Leader for key projects and allocate other projects appropriately across the team including key projects in Life Science and S&D (Sustainability and Decarbonisation). Maintain engagement throughout project phases, from FEED to execution. Develop and implement strategies to ensure long-term growth and increased customer loyalty in project and OEM businesses. Own and manage the UK&I Top 25 List for Multi-BU projects, ensuring prioritization and resource allocation. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain high-level business relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers to drive growth. Collaborate with customers and BU specialists to deliver value-driven solutions demonstrating Emerson’s differentiators, including Industrial Software and Life Cycle Services. Work with country and BU leaders to achieve optimal pricing for x-BU projects and OEM business. Represent Emerson’s best interests in all customer negotiations. Collaboration & Cross-Business Alignment Collaborate with European counterparts to ensure collective success and best practices. Work with UK&I management and BU leaders to establish qualification criteria for project and OEM opportunities. Track market trends in the project/OEM landscape and provide insights to relevant internal teams. Collaborate with Sales Operations and Business Unit leaders to ensure a focus on world class project sales support, both in terms of quotation and execution.
