Computacenter’s Workplace team is looking for an Apple Business Development Manager to take our partnership with Apple to the next level. Computacenter and Apple are two of each other’s largest and most strategic partners. With the growing demand for Mac and employee choice in the enterprise market, we need a passionate and commercially minded individual to help both organizations access each other's respective capabilities and bring sales teams together for the mutual benefit of our customers.
Reporting to the Solution Area Director for Workplace, and alongside our Partner Management and Vendor Alliances leads, you will work autonomously with the objective of growing our joint business with Apple and ensuring that Computacenter is Apple’s preferred partner in the workplace market.
What you'll do
Main Responsibilities
1. Build and own relationships with key Apple stakeholders, and broker relationships between sales teams on both sides.
2. Own the value proposition for Computacenter into Apple, and for Apple into Computacenter.
3. Understand the Apple product portfolio at a business level and articulate its value in the context of our customers.
4. Work alongside Solution Specialists and Account Managers to drive Apple opportunities and maximize commercial return.
5. Grow Computacenter’s business with Apple and its ecosystem partners (e.g., Enterprise Partner Network ISVs).
Secondary Responsibilities and Opportunities
1. Build and own a sales execution plan for growing our Apple business.
2. Represent Computacenter at joint EBRs and QBRs.
3. Attend Apple and other relevant industry events.
4. Support customer campaigns, attend customer meetings and calls to articulate our Apple value proposition.
5. Educate and enable the sales force on Apple propositions.
6. Educate and enable the Apple Major Account Leads on Computacenter propositions.
7. Qualify leads and customer opportunities.
8. Reconnect with install base customers and support the pursuit of new leads.
What you'll need
1. Previous experience in owning and building Tier 1 vendor relationships.
2. Extensive Apple platform understanding and the supporting technologies for seamless deployments.
3. Proven track record of growing joint business with Tier 1 vendors.
4. Good commercial knowledge and understanding of vendor incentive and rebate programs.
5. Good presentation and communication skills and experience working directly with customers.
