Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust currently have an opportunity for registered radiographers within their Temporary Staffing Service who wish to work flexibly.
The position will cover the departments at Tunbridge Wells Hospital, Maidstone Hospital and West Kent CDC, though will be based at the Tunbridge Wells site.

Main duties of the job

Qualifications
Essential criteria
9. BSc or equivalent in Radiography
10. HCPC registration
11. CPD portfolio evidence
Desirable criteria
12. Desire to progress
13. IV cannulation course.
Experience / Knowledge
Essential criteria
14. Acute Sector experience (either as a student or qualified radiographer).
15. A sound knowledge of departmental/other hospital protocols and practices
16. Ability to receive and analyse sensitive/ contentious, complex, information and respond in a rapid and appropriate fashion
17. Decision making skills
18. Ability to rapidly assess patient personality and respond appropriately
19. Acute Sector experience (either as a student or qualified radiographer).
20. Good understanding of IRMER and IRR
Desirable criteria
21. Experience of working out of hours during training or when qualified.
