The Job You'll Do:
* Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Operating various sewing machines including flatbeds and overlockers.
* Manually picking materials from stores.
* Working with various materials and fabrics.
* Colour matching threads and ribbon.
* Replacing bobbins and keeping machines maintained.
* Wrapping completed products into packaging ready for dispatch.
* Completing visual quality inspections and quality assurance paperwork.
* Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
* General housekeeping duties and following specific standard operations while adhering to social distancing requirements.
About You:
* Experience working as a sewing machinist.
* Methodical with the ability to prioritize workload.
* Good communication and listening skills.
* Ability to motivate the team to meet KPIs.
* Ability to work to deadlines.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Problem-solving skills.
* A good level of accuracy is essential.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
