This exciting role comes with a competitive salary between £30k to £50k per year, and a start date from Easter 2025 or September 2025. The position is full-time, with a permanent contract available after a successful probation period. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5). Encourage students to explore practical food skills, nutrition, and the importance of healthy eating. Foster creativity through food design and cooking projects. Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress, ensuring all students reach their potential. Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management. Contribute to curriculum development and departmental projects. Organise and lead extracurricular activities such as cooking clubs or food-related events. Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food and design. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students. Ability to promote healthy eating and creativity in food design.
