About the Role As an experienced Art Teacher, you will: Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on your experience. Teach a broad and stimulating curriculum including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital media. Support students in developing both technical ability and creative expression. Plan and assess work in line with department and school expectations, ensuring progress is tracked and celebrated. Contribute to the ongoing development of schemes of work and assessment frameworks. Inspire and challenge students through exhibitions, competitions, and enrichment activities that showcase their talent. Support the wider department and school community by contributing to extracurricular opportunities such as art clubs or collaborative projects. ✅ Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Art Teacher who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a degree in Art & Design or a closely related subject. Has substantial experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting, with a strong understanding of curriculum design and assessment. Demonstrates a deep knowledge of traditional and contemporary artistic practices. Brings creativity, resilience, and a reflective approach to teaching and learning.
