Job Role
Taylor Woodrow is recruiting for a Head of Social Value to lead the implementation of our Social Value Strategy across the business. Based from our head offices in Watford, the Head of Social Value will be working with the Stakeholder Managers, Social Value advisors, and the Public Liaison Officers to deliver project activities related to social value across our work sites.
Duties
* Responsible for engaging stakeholders (employees, local communities, supply chain) in the development and implementation of social value plans across the business.
* Create and roll out social value strategy for Taylor Woodrow, ensuring strategic alignment with National Social Value Priorities, The Social Value Model, National Highways, and Transport for London.
* Oversee roll out of VINCI Group social value reporting tool Loop. Provide training workshops and carry out data audits to ensure data entered is robust and holds up to external scrutiny.
* Promote and co-ordinate company-wide policies and National Awareness Campaigns that support local community engagement activities, such as volunteering days, match funding, and VINCI Foundation.
* Build relationships with local stakeholders and community groups as required, engaging with local communities to understand local needs and deliver volunteering targets and programmes.
* Provide an overall framework for our Stakeholder Managers and Public Liaison Officers to work within by establishing and maintaining a coherent approach.
* Identify all funding options and maintain knowledge of changes to available funding streams to support local investment in social value activities.
* Ensure that our Supply Chain Partners contribute towards the creation of Social Value by providing data to meet local contractual requirements or Group policies, aligning to our engagement commitments and demonstrating additional mechanisms of achieving improved social value.
Person Specification
* Previous experience in managing social value.
* Ability to demonstrate extensive internal and external stakeholder management.
* Knowledge of the construction industry is advantageous.
