Credit Controller / Administrator
Located in York, UK.
Salary: £25k - £30k per annum
We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller/Administrator to join our finance team near York. The ideal candidate will be studying or looking to study their AAT qualifications.
Purpose:
* To manage all aspects of credit control and administration reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
* To ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
* To maintain effective communication with customers, internal stakeholders, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage cash flow by analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve efficiency.
2. Process invoices, credits, and refunds in accordance with company policies and procedures.
3. Maintain accurate records and reports, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliation statements.
4. Identify and pursue outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans as necessary.
5. Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.
* Studying or looking to study AAT qualifications.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Salary:
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
