Trolley Assistant (Customer Service Assistant) (6.25 hours) We are recruiting a Trolley Assistant on a Part-Time Permanent basis working 6.25 hours per week every Saturday 11:00am to 18:00pm. The Role The role of Trolley Assistant is a key part of our customer services team, providing valuable service to customers and colleagues. You will be collecting and organising the customer trollies in the car park and around the Garden Centre, assisting customers with their purchases as part of our ‘carry to car’ service, ensuring that the car park is clear of litter and organising the shopping basket availability across all departments to support the customer experience. Key Responsibilities include: Collect and distribute trolleys to ensure both good availability for customers and safety within our car park Provide customers with carry to car service, especially for large items Support with maintaining shopping basket availability Assist with customer enquiries General Car Park Housekeeping duties Return products to the shop floor or warehouse About You Previous experience in retail or a similar role is an advantage but not essential Comfortable working independently and predominantly outdoors Good awareness of surroundings to ensure safe working practices, full training will be provided In return we provide: Generous Company Discount scheme.
