Attendance Officer within Student Services35 hours per week, 36 weeks per year – Fixed Term for one year.£17,362 per annum actual salary Term TimeThe post holder would dedicate their time to monitoring absence in real time, liaising with corporate parents and the virtual school to illustrate the college’s commitment to attendance and with a view to motivate students to attend.The post holder will liaise with social workers, residential workers and curriculum teams to support increases in attendance to drive achievement and progression.The post holder will undertake home visits with young people who are at risk of withdrawal due to their low attendance and liaise directly with support worker staff in residential homes to support attendance.The post holder will undertake a range of administrative tasks including making attendance calls, scheduling meetings and maintaining student records and managing their own calendar. The ideal applicant would be organised and confident in their skills with Excel as well as being confident in using the wider MS Office suite.The ability to work to firm timescales whilst maintaining an empathetic approach, having knowledge of L.A.C, Leaving Care and U.A.S.C. processes and an understanding of Mental Health difficulties students may face will be beneficial.To apply please click 'apply on company website' at the top of the page.
