The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a flexible, hardworking, friendly and caring SEN Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our committed and supportive team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
1. A flexible approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and to use initiative in dealing with situations effectively.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Good levels of Literacy and Numeracy.
4. Ability to maintain relevant pupil records as required and feedback to the class teacher.
5. Ability to prepare equipment and resources for the children under direction of the class teacher.
6. A sense of humour, empathy with children of primary school age, a caring personality and confidential nature.
The post involves working five mornings (9.00am - 12.15pm).
