Job Description
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Water Supply Manager (Capital Programme) covering Essex & Suffolk. You will facilitate the delivery of our Capital Programme, acting as a link between Asset, Operations, and Capital Delivery teams. Your role will ensure schemes are delivered aligned with operational and capital needs through excellent relationships, outage management, and innovation. The position involves indirect leadership of Team Managers and their teams, requiring credibility, competency, and relationship-building skills.
You will ensure operational effectiveness of capital schemes, balancing risks and coordinating between capital and operational teams. You will enable the programme through well-planned outages and innovative outage solutions, ensuring efficiency where possible. You will be part of a wider team of Water Supply Managers across Essex and Suffolk, working closely with stakeholders such as water quality, service planning, asset investment, and maintenance teams. Building strong relationships with project teams is essential for effective delivery.
The role offers development opportunities in leadership, project delivery, and financial management within Essex & Suffolk Water and the wider Northumbrian Water Group. For more information, please contact Chris Fulton, Head of Water Supply.
