As Key Account Manager, you will proactively manage a portfolio of key accounts to support our heavy vehicle business.
You will be capable of planning, building and delivering, measurable customer account plans within the heavy vehicle portfolio, in order to maximise value for both Tructyre and the customer.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Build, manage, implement, measure and own the commercial account plan for the account, ensuring all initiatives are profit enhancing and deliverable for Tructyre. Understand the sales and profitability of the portfolio along with the development and management of the future pipeline.
* Manage the cash flow and debt levels of the portfolio, ensuring they are within the agreed tolerances.
* Identify, develop, present and implement added value initiatives, both internally and to the customer.
* Develop and then maintain effective and regular communication channels in the customer’s business in line with a multi-level contact strategy including building strong relationships at senior level.
* Have a high visibility and build and maintain effective working relationships with all colleagues and departments across the Tructyre regional and central structures. This should include (but are not limited to): Operations, Regional Sales, Administration and Finance/Credit Control.
* Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints and strive to maximise internal and external customer satisfaction and loyalty.
The Person:
With previous key account management experience in a B2B organisation and a proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within a key account role. You will have experience in value-based selling and managing internal and external stakeholders. You will also have an understanding and the ability to demonstrate the use of key account methodologies. Focussed on customer satisfaction and needs, you will make a strong personal impression on people, be analytical and curious, and commercially minded.
This is a field based role, therefore a full valid driver’s licence is required. Whilst this role will be a national role, it is preferred that candidates live within a reasonable commute of our head office in Birmingham.
