Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ward clerk Band 3 (administration) to join the Day Case Unit team at Epsom Hospital. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated with good communication skills. Experience desirable but not essential as training will be provide. This is a full time role, the successful candidate will be expected to work Monday - Friday. Main duties of the job The post holder will undertake all aspects administrative work to support the nursing team on the Day Case Unit with the pre and post op care for all day case patients. They will be required to admit, discharge, arrange follow up appointments and ensure all necessary documents are present for surgery. The post holder will be performing meet and greet duties as well as answering telephone queries to support patient flow and our nursing teams.
