Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate person to join our nursery family and work as a 1:1 support for a child with SEN. You will need to be patient, calm, and bring that extra sparkle of fun. At JoJo’s, we offer an inclusive environment for children, and we are looking for someone who can observe, support the care needs, and devise a bespoke curriculum to progress their learning and holistic development.
You will be required to attend regular meetings with parents and other professionals, liaise with external agencies, and be disciplined with completing supporting paperwork with deadlines.
This is a fixed role for 2 years, supporting one child for 3 full days per week, all year round. However, we are identifying a high level of need for support for some children, meaning that this role could be for a longer period and possibly become permanent in the future.
Working between the hours of 8am - 6pm Mon-Wed, 51 weeks of the year.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the dedication to make a real difference. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of children.
